The device (1) has light guiding elements (11) i.e. light ribs, comprising a light inlet surfaces (5) spaced from light emitting surfaces (6). The light guiding elements are spaced transverse to a main light guidance direction (8) from each other. An optical reflector (4) is arranged between a light source (2) i.e. LED, and the light inlet surfaces. The reflector reflects the light emitted by the light source to the light inlet surfaces such that the light is fed into the light inlet surfaces and discharged from the light inlet surfaces to the light exit surfaces in an optical path. The light source, reflector and the light guiding elements are arranged in a common planar circuit board. |
