A system and method for three-dimensional (3D) package monitoring and analysis. A method includes receiving a plurality of images of a parcel from a parcel scanner, and producing and storing a current 3D model of the package from the images. The method includes comparing the current 3D model of the package with a prior 3D model of the package and determining differences between the current 3D model of the package with a prior 3D model of the package. The method includes producing and storing a record of the determined differences, including any differences that exceed one or more predetermined values corresponding to a type of difference. |
