An electric power generation system 100 includes a fuel cell module 102. The fuel cell module includes a fuel cell 104 and a compression plate 212, 306. The compression plate includes a surface 214 contacting the fuel cell. A support plate 308, 310 is opposite the compression plate. The compression plate is movable in relation to the support plate. A pressurized fluid container 304 is disposed between the compression plate and the support plate. The pressurized fluid container includes a casing 314 defining an internal space 316 configured to contain pressurized fluid 122. The electric power generation system further includes a pressurized fluid source 120, 216 and a fluid line 124, 218 coupled to the pressurized fluid source and the pressurized fluid container.
