The roof bow (1) has a roof bow main portion that is connected to the folding roof which is movable between a closed position and an open position. The bow main portion is transversely preceded in the installed position to the travel direction of vehicle. The component (2) of the bow main portion is transverse to the direction of travel of the vehicle. The two components (3) are formed as arm in the installed position. The component (2) is provided with a preset plastic material and the component (3) is provided with specific plastic material different from preset plastic material.
