A method and apparatus for separating water from oil. The oil is enriched with gas, such as air, before it is injected into a first and second degassing device. The method comprises raising the oil level (51) in the second degassing device (33) for pressing gas out of the device (33), after which the oil level is decreased again for decreasing the pressure, which assists in extracting gas and vapour from the oil. |
