A non-contact charging device includes a power receiving device having at least a power receiving coil I B which receives electric power from a power transmitting coil I A in a non-contact manner by magnetic coupling; a battery 5 which is charged by the electric power; a state-of-charge detection unit for detecting the state of charge of the battery 5; and a permissible charging range setting unit for setting a permissible charging range indicating the range of the position of the power transmitting coil 1A relative to the position of the power receiving coil 1B, in which the charging of the battery 5 is permitted, according to the state of charge detected by the state-of-charge detection unit.
