A colorant multimer (A) having a non-nucleophilic counter anion, wherein the non-nucleophilic counter anion is an imide anion represented by the following formula (AN-1): X1—Y1—N−—Y2—X2  (AN-1) wherein X1 and X2 each independently represents a halogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group; X1 and X2 may be bonded to each other to form a ring; at least one of X1 and X2 is a fluorine atom-containing alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and Y1 and Y2 each independently represents —SO2— or —CO—, and further wherein the colorant multimer (A) having a non-nucleophilic counter anion has a partial structure derived from a colorant selected from the group consisting of a dipyrromethene colorant and a xanthene colorant, and wherein the colorant multimer achieves a combination of high heat resistance and reduced color migration.
