The present invention provides for purified or highly pure recombinant monoclonal antibodies that bind to human colorectal and pancreatic carcinoma-associated antigens (CPAA), along with nucleic acid sequences encoding the antibody chains, and the amino acid sequences corresponding to said nucleic acids and uses for said sequences.

A monoclonal antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof, that binds to a human colorectal and pancreatic carcinoma-associated antigen (CPAA), wherein said monoclonal antibody or antigen-binding region thereof comprises the light chain CDR1 amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:7, light chain CDR2 amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:8, and light chain CDR3 amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:9, and wherein said monoclonal antibody or antigen-binding region thereof comprises the heavy chain CDR1 amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:10, heavy chain CDR2 amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:11, and heavy chain CDR3 amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:12.
