Holster (1) for a pistol comprising an elongated U-shaped shell (2), first and second engagement means (6, 7), attaching device. The elongated U-shaped shell (2) comprises a wall part (3) and a first and a second side parts (4, 5) extending parallel in relation to each other backwards substantially perpendicularly to the wall part (3) forming an elongated U-shaped shell (2). The first engagement means (6) comprises at least one flexible means (8), which is resilient and provided on an inside surface (9, 10) of at least one of the first and second side parts (4, 5). The flexible means is resilient in a substantially perpendicular direction to the first and second side parts (4, 5) to engage with a slide of a pistol and withhold a pistol in the elongated U-shaped shell (2) in a rest position, and to engage with a slide of a pistol when the pistol is drawn out of the holster (1) and perform a cocking operation/motion. |
