主权项 1. A safety device for a pre-filled syringe, comprising: a hollow support body for retaining the pre-filled syringe, a hollow needle shield movable relative to the support body from a first position to a second position, a releasable mounting member to mount the pre-filled syringe within the support body, an outer body slidably arranged relative to the support body, wherein, at an end of an injection stroke, the outer body releases the releasable mounting member and substantially receives the support body, a locking mechanism configured to inhibit movement of the needle shield to the first position when the needle shield is in the second position, the locking mechanism comprising at least one locking catch configured to protrude from the needle shield into a first recess formed into the support body to retain the needle shield in the first position, anda second recess formed into the support body, wherein the at least one locking catch is configured to latch to the second recess to irreversibly lock the needle shield in the second position after the needle shield moves from the first position to the second position, and a spring arranged within the support body in a non-energized or partially energized state, wherein movement of the needle shield from the first position to the second position fully energizes the spring.
