1. An input device comprising:
an input portion comprising a plurality of controls that are configured to detect contact by a user with a surface of the input device to generate signals to be processed as inputs by a computing device that is communicatively coupled to the controls; and a holographic layer disposed over a surface of the input portion and formed as an interchangeable surface that is configured to be removably attached to the input portion, the holographic layer configured to output a hologram in response to receipt of light, from a light source, as viewable by a user over the input portion, the hologram utilized to indicate gestures that are available for recognition by the input device and the hologram utilized to indicate how to perform the gestures. |
