1. A method for a wireless local area network, the method comprising:
receiving, by an access point (AP), a direct link setup (DLS) setup frame from at least one of a first station and a second station, the DLS setup frame including information about at least one first subchannel to be used for a communication of a DLS link between the first station and the second station; selecting, by the AP, at least one second subchannel to be used for a communication between the AP and a third station, wherein the at least one second subchannel is selected from a plurality of subchannels that do not include the at least one first subchannel; transmitting, by the AP, a control frame to the third station, the control frame including a channel field indicating the at least one second subchannel; and transmitting, by the AP, downlink data to the third station through the at least one second subchannel.
