The device (1) has a stop mass (2) and impact absorption modules (M1-M4) placed on a chassis (5). The modules are integrated to the stop mass and placed at the rear of the device, where each module is made of deformable material piece. Slide elements are placed on a front surface and on a rear surface of the absorption modules. The elements are cooperated such that the rear surface of one module is integrated to the front surface of the preceding module. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing an intervention zone on or near a circulation path. |
