The invention relates to a method for monitoring the integrity of filtering membranes allowing the separation of a fluid into a first permeate (P) and a first concentrate (C). The first permeate (P) from the filtration acheived by the filtering membranes is concentrated by means of a separation module (M) including hollow fibres (Fc) provided inside the separation module (M) and capable of separating said first permeate (P) into a second permeate (P') and a second concentrate (C'). The concentrate (C') thus obtained is directed by means of a distributor (Vm) towards means for analysing the composition and/or the concentration of the second concentrate (C'). Next an analysis of the second concentrate (C') is carried out by means of at least one sensor (Cc), and the evolution over time of the result of the analysis conducted on the second concentrate (C') is examined in order to deduce therefrom information to quantify the integrity or lack of integrity of the membrane. |
