Proposed are a terminal operation method and apparatus and a corresponding terminal, which relate to the field of electronic terminal devices. The method comprises: detecting a direction of the terminal; and according to the detected direction of the terminal, determining a function of a control key arranged on the terminal. The apparatus comprises a first detection module, which is configured to detect a direction of the terminal; and a first function determination module, which determines a function of a control key arranged on the terminal according to the detected direction of the the terminal. In the present application, a direction in which a terminal is held can be ignored and the up and down directions are automatically determined, so as to realize barrier-free use and to increase convenience of the terminal in actual use. |
