My mold for vulcanizing a tire is used to manufacture a pneumatic tire with a rim diameter of 20 inches or more and an aspect ratio of 60% or less. The mold includes a crown portion molding part and a side portion molding part separate from the crown portion molding part. The side portion molding part includes a curved portion capable of abutting a green tire. The ratio d2/L2 is 0.15 or less. Furthermore, my pneumatic tire can be manufactured using this mold for vulcanizing a tire.
