摘要 This negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery includes a current collector and a negative electrode active material layer, wherein, when 1 μl of a solution obtained by dissolving 1 mol/L of a lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) into a mixed solvent of ethylene carbonate (EC) and diethyl carbonate (DEC) (volume ratio EC:DEC = 3:7) is dropped on a surface of the negative electrode active material layer, a penetration time period, from the drop time to a time at which penetration of the whole dropped solution into the negative electrode active material layer is completed, is 900 seconds or shorter, and the spread area of the dropped solution on the surface of the negative electrode active material layer is 0.5 cm2 or greater at the time at which penetration of the whole dropped solution is completed.
