The invention relates to a device for processing postal objects, in particular for preparing a postal worker's round, including a sorting machine (1) comprising a supply inlet (2) and sorting outlets (3). The objects (4) sorted at the sorting outlets are transported in storage containers (5) by shuttle robots (6). A monitoring/control unit (7) controls the movement of the shuttle robots comprising containers full of objects between the sorting outlets and the supply inlet, and comprising empty containers along the sorting outlets where the shuttle robots move in convoys and in target tracking mode. |
