Provided is a light polarization plate or the like which is capable of achieving a large liquid crystal panel exhibiting excellent visibility. This light polarization plate 100 is provided with a light polarizer 10 and a protective film 20. The external shape of the light polarization plate 100 is a rectangle having long sides which are at least 660 mm, and short sides which are at least 370 mm. The average light polarization degree of the light polarization plate 100 is at least 99.98%. The number of defects having a light polarization degree of less than 99% and a maximum diameter of at least 30 µm is not more than 10 per m2.
