This communication device is provided with: a time holding unit (F1) which holds the current time on the basis of a clock signal; a synchronization information acquisition unit (F3) which acquires synchronization information used to synchronize the time with a prescribed standard time; a time correction unit (F4) which, on the basis of the synchronization information, corrects the time so as to minimize error between the time and the reference time; an interval determination unit (F21) which specifies a timing for switching the communication interval on the basis of the time and which determines whether or not the communication interval has been switched on the basis of the switching timing and the time; a channel switching unit (F22) which switches the transmit/receive target channel at the specified switching timing; a transmission processing unit (F24) which performs data transmission using the configured transmit/receive target channel and which does not perform data transmission during a prescribed transmission restricted time before and after the switching timing; an error amount evaluation unit (F5) which evaluates the error amount, which is the degree of error of the time with respect to the reference time; and a transmission restricted time adjustment unit (F6) which makes the transmission restriction time longer the greater the evaluated error amount is. |
