An information card recognition circuit and a terminal, which relate to the technical field of communications and resolve the problem of improper card insertion due to confusion of a user about an SIM card interface and a smart card interface. The information card recognition circuit (10) comprises a card holder (101), an N×1 selection switch (102), N information card control chips (103), and a controller (104). The card holder (101) is used for mounting an information card. The N×1 selection switch (102) is used for allowing the information card mounted on the card holder (101) to communicate with a chip among the N information card control chips (103) according to a control signal inputted by the controller (104). The N information card control chips (103) are used for controlling N information cards in a one-to-one correspondence. The controller (104) is used for detecting whether an information card is mounted on the card holder (101), for sequentially inputting M control signals to the N×1 selection switch (102) when it detected that the information card is mounted on the card holder (101), and for stopping sending the control signals to a control end after the controller (104) receives response data and when it is determined that the information card matches the information card control chips (103) currently connected to the information card. |
