摘要 Provided is a welding method for obtaining a lap fillet welded joint which has excellent tensile strength and which is not broken by a weld metal when subjected to a tensile load without increasing the welding deformation. In this method, a first steel plate having a tensile strength of 780 MPa or more is overlapped with at least a location to be welded of a second steel plate, and then fillet welding is performed between the end of the first steel plate and the surface of the second steel plate. A reinforcing part is provided on the surface of the first steel plate at the side opposite the surface overlapping the second steel plate, and fillet welding is performed between one end of a reinforcing material and the surface of the first steel plate. Further, fillet welding is performed so that a weld metal covers the end of the reinforcing part and a space between the end of the first steel plate and the surface of the second steel plate.
