[Solution] This blood flow analysis device performs numerical fluid analysis of blood flow at a blood vessel region of interest, and is provided with: an input unit in which a computer receives medical images of a patient; a blood vessel of interest extraction unit in which a computer analyzes the medical images and extracts the blood vessel region of interest to be analyzed; a blood vessel of interest analysis unit in which a computer calculates the blood vessel diameter at the entrance and exit of said blood vessel region of interest; a boundary condition calculation unit which, on the basis of the blood vessel diameter at the entrance and exit, calculates blood flow at the entrance and exit of the blood vessel region; a blood flow calculation unit which, through numerical fluid analysis using the calculated blood flow at the entrance and exit, calculates blood flow properties including the pressure field and the velocity field within the blood vessel region of interest; a blood flow index calculation unit which, on the basis of the aforementioned blood flow properties, calculates, as a prescribed index, blood flow characteristics in the blood vessel region of interest; and a display unit which outputs and displays the blood flow index. |
