[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a charge control agent having a large charge amount and an environmentally stable charging property for use in a polymerized toner, particularly a color toner. [Solution] A charge control agent, of which the active ingredient is a pyrazolone derivative represented by general formula (1) or a salt of the derivative, has a large charge amount and excellent environmental stability of charge, and thus, exhibits an excellent charge-imparting effect for use in a polymerized toner, particularly a color toner. (In the formula, R1, R2, and R3 each independently represent a linear or branched alkyl group which is substituted or unsubstituted and which has 1-20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, and a substituted or unsubstituted fused polycyclic aromatic group.) |
