The invention secures the reliability of contact between a terminal metal piece and a circuit board. The card edge connector (A) comprises: a synthetic resin housing (11) wherein a board housing space (17) for inserting the circuit board (51) has been formed; terminal metal pieces (20), each having a contact portion (25) capable of establishing contact with the circuit board (51), mounted in the housing (11) in such a manner that the contact portions (25) face the board housing space (17); and a spacing restraint member (40) including in a single body a pair of mounting parts (41) and a linking part (42) which links the base end portions of the pair of mounting parts (41) to one another. The pair of mounting parts (41) are mounted individually onto the pair of terminal metal pieces (20) across the circuit board (51), thereby restricting the relative displacement of the terminal metal pieces (20) in a direction parting from the circuit board (51).
