The method comprises: detecting a first gesture with respect to a trigger element and performed by a user (S101); if the first gesture with respect to the trigger element and performed by the user is a predetermined change gesture, then changing a current search type (S102); and displaying the changed search type via the trigger element (S103). The present invention lowers operational costs of changing a search type, thus improving the efficiency of search type changing.
