NATURAL GRAPHITE/ALUMINUM COMPOSITE HEAT SINK

A natural graphite/aluminum composite heat sink comprising an aluminum foil layer and graphite layers provided on both the upper and lower surfaces of the aluminum foil layer. The aluminum foil layer comprises an aluminum substrate and coarse layers provided on both the upper and lower surfaces of the aluminum substrate. Pores are uniformly distributed on the surfaces of the coarse layers. The coarse layers and the graphite layers are meshed with each other via the pores. The composite heat sink reduces the interface thermal resistance between the aluminum foil and the graphite layers and increases thermal conductivity in the direction of the z-axis.
