A mobile terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises, in a mobile terminal communicatively connected with a first external display device, a memory for storing identification information corresponding to at least one external mobile terminal; a communication unit for receiving first electronic program guide (EPG) data from an external server or the first external display device; a display unit for displaying EPG on the basis of the received first EPG data; and a control unit, wherein the control unit controls the display unit to display identification information corresponding to the at least one external mobile terminal according to a first instruction for reserving a group viewing with respect to a specific program from among at least one program contained in the EPG, sends to the first external display device a signal to make a watching reservation with respect to the specific program according to the first instruction, and controls the communication unit to send, to a first external mobile terminal corresponding to a specific identification information, first watching reservation information with respect to the specific program according to a second instruction for selecting the specific identification information from among the displayed identification information. |
