In the case where abnormal termination occurs in a job step included in a job executed by an execution unit (202) in accordance with the definition information (111), a control unit (203) causes the execution unit (202) to execute a retry job (221) that includes: a restart step that is a job step in which the abnormal termination has occurred; and job steps that are subsequent to the restart step according to the execution sequence defined by the definition information (111) and that satisfy the execution conditions defined by the definition information (111) when the abnormal termination of the restart step occurs. The control unit (203) causes the execution unit (202) to halt execution of job steps that are subsequent to the restart step according to the execution sequence defined by the definition information (111) until at least execution of the retry job (221) is completed.
