A device (1) and a process used to purify air from pollutants are disclosed. The device (1) comprises at least one empty body (70) defining a chamber (60) intended to receive an air flow to be purified and comprising at least one inlet hole (40) for the air, at least one outlet hole (50) for the air. The chamber comprises means for generating an electric field (20), at least one photocatalyst (10), intended to be excited by a luminous radiation, implementing a photocatalysis process, at least one luminous radiation source (11) intended to excite said photocatalyst (10), and at least one adsorbing material (30). The means for generating an electric field (20), the at least one photocatalyst (10) and the at least one adsorbing material (30) are disposed in said chamber (60) in such manner to cooperate. |
