A device for the sterile coupling of a percutaneous surgical instrument (62) to a tool (61) for driving said instrument in rotation, having a tubular connection body (11) with a first end (111) capable of receiving the proximal end of the instrument (62) and with a second end (112) capable of receiving the end of the driving tool (61), and two juxtaposed holding rings (12, 13). The device has an envelope (14) forming a flexible packaging rigidly connected to the holding rings and having an opening (142) for introducing the driving tool (61) into said envelope (14) and for inserting the end-piece (611) of the driving tool (61) into the second end (112) of the device. The two holding rings (12, 13) and the envelope (14) are configured and arranged on the connection body (11) of the device in such a way that the connection body (11) passes freely through the wall of the envelope (14) and turns freely with respect to the latter.
