a communication unit configured to perform data communication with not less than one server based on a plurality of sessions using a first communication protocol; a detection unit configured to perform error detection in at least one session out of the plurality of sessions; and a protocol control unit configured to change a communication protocol used for data communication in a second session out of the plurality of sessions using the first communication protocol from the first communication protocol to a second communication protocol when the detection unit detects an error in a first session out of the plurality of sessions.
