The invention relates to a photovoltaic element configured in the form of a heterojunction solar cell, which can be generated in a cost-effective manner, withstands high mechanical stresses and can easily be further processed. To this end, a solid-state photovoltaic element according to the invention has a carrier (1) formed of a steel substrate, and a photovoltaically active layer structure carried by the carrier (1), wherein an electrically insulating, ion diffusion-inhibiting insulation layer (2) is arranged between the layer structure and the carrier (1), and the layer structure comprises a rear electrode (3) formed of a metal material, a hole conductor (4), a photovoltaically active layer (5) having at least one perovskite layer, an electron conductor (6), a front electrode (7) that is transparent in the visible spectrum of light, and a protective layer (8) that is transparent in the visible spectrum of light. |
