PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneader having a high plasticization capacity, capable of producing a thermoplastic resin compact stably over a long period; and to provide a production method of a thermoplastic resin compact using a kneader.SOLUTION: A kneader has a plasticization cylinder, and a screw disposed rotatably and movably forward/backward in the plasticization cylinder, and produces a thermoplastic resin compact having between a high-pressure kneading zone and a decompression zone, a downstream side seal mechanism for executing communication and blockage between the high-pressure kneading zone and the decompression zone corresponding to a rotation state of the screw. |
