PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can prevent charged sheets from sticking to each other.SOLUTION: An image forming device has a single-sided printing mode in which an image can be printed on the front of a sheet by conveyance in a non-inversion conveyance part, and a duplex printing mode in which an image can be printed on the front and back of a sheet by conveyance in the non-inversion conveyance part and inversion conveyance in an inversion conveyance part. At least the duplex printing mode has an alternate sheet discharge mode that performs alternately: a non-inversion sheet discharge operation in which the sheet is discharged without turning over the sheet by the second sheet inversion part after the image is printed on the frond and back of the sheet by an image forming part; and an inversion sheet discharge operation in which sheet turned over in the second sheet inversion part is discharged. In the alternate sheet discharge mode, the front and back images to be printed on the sheet are preferably printed in reverse order between the non-inversion sheet discharge and the inversion sheet discharge.
