PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image viewing system capable of allowing a user to view a favorite television program at any time without missing the program even when an operation such as a viewing reservation and a video-recording reservation is not performed.SOLUTION: In an auxiliary device side schedule book (a user schedule database) for recording daily schedules and events, a television viewing action can be recorded as a schedule item. An image is output for viewing to a television receiver via an image reception reproduction device. The image reception reproduction device automatically controls a viewing reservation, a video-recording reservation, video-recording, channel change, etc. in connection with the change of schedule contents on the schedule book. Besides, schedule contents and a viewing method candidate are presented in the case of initial registration and changing in accordance with a user situation, a planned schedule, and the significance of a television program. |
