PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger including a header collection tube, for equalizing the wetness of refrigerant flowing in flat tubes by using a flow divider in a simple configuration, independently of the length of the header collection tube.SOLUTION: Inside a first header collection tube, a plurality of communication chambers 62a-62c are formed each of which is communicated with a flat tube 32. Inside a flow divider 80, a partition member 100 is provided to form one mixture chamber 87 for mixing refrigerant in a gas-liquid two-phase state flowing from a liquid pipeline 55 and a plurality of distribution chambers 88a-88c each communicated with the mixture chamber 87. The distribution chambers 88a-88c and the communication chambers 62a-62c are communicated with each other via connection pipelines 92a-92c, respectively. The vertical length of the flow divider 80 is shorter than a length from the lower end of the lowest communication chamber 62a out of the plurality of communication chambers 62a-62c to the upper end of the highest communication chamber 62c out of the plurality of communication chambers 62a-62c. |
