The present invention relates to a device for blocking and moving a workpiece in a machine tool comprising a conveyor chain (12), which includes a plurality of shoes (13) connected to one another, wherein at least one of said shoes (13) is provided with at least one suction channel (17) to generate a negative pressure in a vacuum pick-up means (14), a support (10) that defines a circulation path for said conveyor chain (12) and a vacuum channel with a sliding surface (16), on which said shoes (13) slide, resting on a lower face thereof, vacuum pick-up means (14) in communication with said vacuum channel by means of said suction channel, on said sliding surface (16) there being produced at least one opening (19) to place said vacuum channel in communication with the suction channel (17), said shoes (13) being provided with sealing means adapted to prevent suction of air between two adjacent shoes. |
