PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which performs drainage of water in an inner tray automatically by stopping water supply to the inner tray from a water supply tank when a mist operation is finished.SOLUTION: When a mist operation for supplying humidification air including nano-mist and negative ions indoors is finished, electric conduction to a solenoid 20 is switched to an OFF-state and a water supply valve 14 is returned to an original position, the water supply from a water supply tank 12 is prevented and the water in an inner tray is drained by opening a drain valve. Thus, when the mist operation is finished, the water flowing in the inner tray from the water supply tank 12 is stopped surely, and the water in the inner tray can be drained into a drain tank. Thereby, usability improves as the water supply tank 12 does not need to be taken out of a tank storage chamber during a drainage operation, and even when the mist operation is performed after the water in the inner tray is left for a long time, the mist operation can be performed surely by using clean water, so that it is hygienic. |
