PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lending key control system capable of securing a security property against the theft of a lending key.SOLUTION: A lending key 19 of a lending key vehicle operation system (valet key system) 20 is switched to an invalid state when it is stored in a key storage part 23 in a glove box 22. Thus, even when the lending key 19 is stolen in, for example, vehicle parking, the lending key 19 in the invalid state makes it impossible to operate a vehicle 1 so that a security property against the theft of the vehicle is secured. When the vehicle 1 is lent to a third person, the lending key 19 is switched from the invalid state to a valid state by short-range communication by a highly functional portable telephone 21 in which lending key ID is already registered. Thus, it is possible to lend the vehicle 1 to a third person by lending the lending key 19. |
