PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink that has sufficient fixability even when recording on a various kinds of food products, materials coming into contact with food products, food packaging materials and the like and to provide a printing method.SOLUTION: The inkjet ink includes an edible dye, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and water. The weight average molecular weight of the polyvinyl pyrrolidone is 5,000 to 100,000 and the content ratio of the polyvinyl pyrrolidone is 0.01 to 5 wt%. The printing method comprises discharging the inkjet ink by a drop on-demand inkjet device and adhering the inkjet ink on an object to be printed to perform printing in which the inkjet ink discharged from the drop on-demand inkjet device is circulated between an inkjet head and a casing for an ink tank.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
