摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and surely switch to an OFF state when the ambient temperature becomes a preset temperature, by enlarging a maximum current capable of switching to the OFF state in a current dependent manner.SOLUTION: A non-energized type breaker comprises: a movable contact metal plate 6 which is partially fixed to an exterior case 1 so as to make a movable contact 7 movable; and a bimetal 8 which is disposed between the movable contact metal plate 6 and a fixed contact metal plate 4 and deformed in accordance with the ambient temperature to switch the movable contact metal plate 6 from ON to OFF. In the state where the movable contact metal plate 6 is not pressed by the bimetal 8, a movable contact 7 is brought into contact with a fixed contact 5 by elasticity of the movable contact metal plate 6, thereby providing the ON state. When the bimetal 8 is deformed in accordance with the ambient temperature and the movable contact metal plate 6 is pressed by the deformed bimetal 8, the movable contact 7 is separated from the fixed contact 5, thereby switching to the OFF state. In the non-energized type breaker, the movable contact metal plate is made of a Cu-Ni-P alloy containing nickel equal to or more than 0.1 wt% and equal to or less than 2 wt% in addition to phosphor.
