PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module having higher filtration capacity by easily mixing a hydrophobic hollow fiber membrane to a module as a countermeasure against the reduction of a filtration flow at a low water pressure and to provide a cartridge for a water purifier incorporating the hollow fiber membrane module.SOLUTION: In a hollow fiber membrane module where a hollow fiber membrane bundle is filled up in a cylindrical case and the opening end of the hollow fiber membrane bundle is fixed to the opening of the cylindrical case with a potting material, the hollow fiber membrane bundle is one where a hydrophobic hollow fiber membrane is mixed with a hydrophilic hollow fiber membrane and the hydrophobic hollow fiber membrane is inserted from the opening end of the hollow fiber membrane bundle before being fixed with the potting material. |
