PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color particle having stable dispersibility and stable charging characteristics, and to provide a color particle dispersion liquid, a display medium and a display device employing the color particle.SOLUTION: Provided is a color particle (for example, particle constituting a particle group 34) includes: a core particle containing a first polymer having a chargeable group and a colorant; and a covering layer covering the surface of the core particle, and containing a crosslinked body of a second polymer having a monomer unit A having a silicone chain on a side chain and a monomer unit B having a self-crosslinkable group on a side chain, with the self-crosslinkable group of the monomer unit B being a functional group which does not generate a hydroxyl group by crosslinking. Also provided is a color particle dispersion liquid, a display medium and a display device, employing the color particle. |
