Described are methods of treating pain using agents that bind neurotrophins. The agents are preferably fusions such as low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor (p75NTR) with an antibody Fc region (p75NTR-Fc), or fusions of tropomyosin receptor kinase B (TrkB) with an antibody Fc region (TrkB-Fc). The agent is preferably not p75NTR or a derivative thereof. |
