[Class 52 (ii).] In a convertible settee-bed of the kind having members 7 pivoted at 11 to the back 1 and linked by members 8, 9, to members 10 carrying the seat 6, a fixed pin or pivot 15 is provided at each side of the couch frame, upon which the mattress frame slides and rocks as it is opened or closed. The parts 8, 9 are provided with slots 18, 14 to engage the pins 15, and springs 22, 23 may be provided to assist the movement of the parts of the mattress frame. |
