PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance/exit control system and an authentication device improved in convenience by learning switching of used languages according to a user and an operation result of a volume adjustment and by reflecting the learning in subsequent notifications.SOLUTION: Upon detection of a language switching operation and/or a volume adjustment operation in an operation part 28 with respect to a message notification, which follows authentication processing of personal information by an authentication control part 32, a personal information registration part 36 registers language information indicating a language switched to by the operation and/or volume adjustment information indicating the volume adjusted to by the operation, in association with the personal information read by a magnetic card reading part 26. Subsequently, a notification control part 38 acquires corresponding language information and/or volume adjustment information from the personal information registration part on the basis of the personal information read by the magnetic card reading part, and switches the used languages in a display part 44 and a voice notification part 46 on the basis of the acquired language information, and controls the volume of the voice notification part on the basis of the acquired volume adjustment information. |
