PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of a non-ionic surfactant capable of simply and stably reducing the concentration of a metal ion included in the non-ionic surfactant to the level of ppb, and the non-ionic surfactant having a metal ion concentration reduced to such a level of ppb.SOLUTION: A diluted solution for the solvent of a non-ionic surfactant is used in an ion exchange method using a mixed resin of a strong acid cation exchange resin and a strong alkali anion exchange resin, and the concentration of metal ions to a non-ionic surfactant is treated to be 200 ppb or less for each metal ion. |
