PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld junction capable of contributing to deformation performance improvement of a steel structural member, and to provide a welding joining method.SOLUTION: Concerning a weld junction related to this invention, which is a weld junction (1) of a steel structural member comprising a steel material whose standard value of tensile strength is in the 780 N/mmclass or lower, the weld junction (1) includes a weld zone (5), and is welded so that the strength of a weld zone surface layer (1a) which is a surface layer of the weld zone (5) is 80% or higher and 95% or lower of the strength of a weld zone lower layer (1b) other than the weld zone surface layer (1a). |
