The present disclosure provides a link backup method, including: monitoring whether an active power over Ethernet (POE) transmission link between two devices is normal; switching the POE transmission link to a broadband over power line (BPL) link when it is monitored that the POE transmission link is abnormal; and transmitting data between the two devices through the BPL link.
